What do you see

He asked me

In the still water on the wall?

Do you see realistically

Do you want to see at all

Does your vision betray you

Would another see the same

Is it something different 

If so, who’s to blame

When two see’rs see

the sight may be alike

but each see’s through their own eyes

and each has unique sight

Does your vision give motivation

or does it make you want to crawl

deep underground to a place without light

where sight means nothing at all

and no one will ask you to look

in the still water on the wall
